Quick Reach recently had the opportunity to work with a client on RAF Cosford. The project had to be completed in opening hours therefore the new plant supplied had to be carefully selected to ensure smooth operation and manoeuvrability. Congratulations to all contractors who where involved in this prestigious project.
Quick Reach has purchased a number of 60ft Genie Z-60/37FE hybrid articulated boom lifts as part of its 2016 expansion plans.
The new Genies will complement its 50ft Nifty HR17 hybrid boom lifts, in addition to the two metres of additional working height, the new Genies offer a little more up and over reach and almost two metres more outreach. Although the Niftylifts benefit from being 2.5 tonnes lighter, making the two products good stable mates.
Quicklift has initially ordered six of the new Genie booms, which will be based at its branches in Scotland, Manchester and London.
“We have taken a great interest in the new Genie Hybrid and we are pleased to be one of the first to bring the product to the UK. We identified numerous benefits that the new boom lift offers, including its impressive drive speed of 4.0 mph. Machines of this type offer a good return on capital employed for hire companies in my opinion. The Nifty HR 21 and the New Z60/37FE are unique, with low noise and clean performance and this will become more prevalent on construction sites as they become more popular.”
